Toyota car sales in Finland 2011-2021
Over the past decade, the Japanese automotive brand Toyota experienced fluctuations in their annual passenger car sales in Finland. Almost 14.3 thousand Toyota cars were newly registered in 2021.
Toyota leads the sales of passenger cars
Toyota reached again the leading position in the sales ranking of passenger cars in the country. The German manufacturer Volkswagen ranked second with roughly 10 thousand sold cars, giving Toyota a comfortable margin of over four thousand units.
Toyota Corolla ranked highest in the sales of passenger car models
Not only ranked Toyota highest in the overall sales of new passenger cars, but also were they successful with individual models, coming first with their Toyota Corolla. Finnish consumers also had preferred models such as Nissan Qashqai and Škoda Octavia.
