Funded arts organizations' total income England 2023

The total income of arts and cultural organizations regularly funded by the Arts Council England (ACE) rebounded in 2022/2023, following a sharp decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Between April 2022 and March 2023, the total income of such organizations amounted to roughly 2.1 billion British pounds, the highest figure reported over the period considered.

Data are based on all arts organizations receiving regular funding from Arts Council England. It should be noted that the number of organizations receiving funding and providing enough data to be included in the final data analysis differs each year. The total number of funded organizations requested to complete the annual submission and the number of responses received are given below:
