Recreational and cultural services quarterly spending (by volume) in the UK 2015-2020

Due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, consumer spending on recreational and cultural services in the United Kingdom decreased significantly in 2020 over the previous year. In the second quarter of 2020, consumer spending dropped to approximately 6.8 billion British pounds from 12.6 billion British pounds the previous quarter. While the scenario improved in the fourth quarter of the year, consumer spending on recreational and cultural services was still 25.7 percent less than the total spending during the same quarter the previous year.
