Coffee and tea retail sales in specialized stores in Norway 2008-2017 This statistic displays the annual turnover from the retail sale of coffee and tea in specialized stores in Norway from 2008 to 2017. In 2017, coffee and tea retailers generated a sales revenue of 114 million Norwegian kroner. Whereas the sales value of coffee an tea showed an increasing trend between 2008 and 2012, the sales revenue has decreased ever since. A high peak was reached in 2012, when the retail sale of coffee and tea amounted to 140 million Norwegian kroner. The popularity of coffee does also have an influence on the coffee prices, which have risen over the past ten years. This shows a statistic about the consumer price index (CPI) of coffee in Norway. The CPI is designed to measure changes in the price of everything consumers buy. In 2017, the price index value of coffee was measured at 99.4, where 2015 equals 100.
