This statistic shows the revenues of the most successful online shops in the clothing, apparel and shoes sector in Germany in 2015. In the period of consideration, the online shop of Swedish clothing retailer H&M generated a net revenue of roughly 345 million euros, placing third in the ranking of the top ten clothing and shoes shops in Germany. Zalando and Bonprix placed first and second, generating over 1 billion and almost 485 million euros worth of revenue respectively. As of 2015, Zalando had 17.9 active customers, a figure that had kept growing in recent years, and the company recorded 457.9 million visits to its website.
This statistic originates from a study conducted in cooperation with the EHI Retail Institute for the eighth time. The study, E-Commerce Market in Germany in 2016, lists the 1,000 largest German online shops for consumer goods (with a focus on B2C), based on revenues generated in 2015.
