New target user groups for virtual reality headsets in the U.S. 2015, by age group The statistic shows the results of a survey in the United States concerned with the likelihood that virtual reality headsets will create new target groups of video game users, by age group. Some 15 percent of the respondents between the ages of 14 and 19 years said that virtual reality headsets will probably not create new groups of video game users. The VR market is set to grow at a very fast rate in the following years, with the revenue from virtual reality products forecast to reach 5.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2018.
