Consumers lost money in This statistic displays the distribution of "no hang-up" fraud complaints to the Financial Ombudsman listed by amount of money lost to vishing fraud in the United Kingdom (UK) between 2012 and 2014. It shows that the same share (16%) of people who complained about financial fraud lost between one and 999 British pounds and between 5,000 and 9,999 British pounds in one or more phone banking fraud attacks.
