N2O emissions by alternative power production in the UK 1990-2017

This statistic shows the amount of nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions attributable to the production of electricity from sources other than oil, coal, nuclear or gas in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017, in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). It shows that N2O emissions have increased significantly over the years. In 1990, emissions totaled 4,200 metric tons of CO2e, whereas 134,400 metric tons of CO2e were emitted in 2017.
