AT&T's video entertainment revenue fell from 28.61 billion U.S. dollars in 2020 to 15.51 billion in 2021. This decrease in reported revenue is likely due to AT&T closing a transaction with TPG Capital in July 2021 to form a new company called DIRECTV Entertaiment Holdings, LLC, which resulted in the separation of their video businesses from their reporting and moved the accounting for this segment to their investments reports.
