Book readers in Italy 2021, by education and number of books read
In Italy, as of 2021, around 3.2 million individuals with primary school or no educational degree read at least one book. By contrast, more than 9.4 million people with upper and post secondary education read the same amount of books in that year. The number of indivuíduals with these educational levels having read twelve books or more in that year is considerably lower, as around 1.4 million individuals with upper and post secondary education and 377 thousand with primary school or no degree did so.
