Pemex: natural gas reserves 2008-2019 The natural gas reserves of Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex, amounted to more than 20.5 trillion cubic feet as of January 1, 2019. The company's hydrocarbon reserves amounted to approximately seven billion barrels of oil equivalent that year. Pemex is the state-owned Mexican petroleum company.
