The statistic presents the average age of selected eSports players in North America in 2015. According to the estimates, the average age of League of Legends (LoL) player was 26 years. In general, the average age of eSports players spanned between 24 and 27 years. That year LoL ranked third among the most popular games among eSports competitors in the United States. FIFA managed to secure the first spot in the ranking. Overall, when asked if they ever watched eSports, 26 percent of respondents in the United States said yes in 2016, representing a eight percent increase from 2015.
