Facebook users in Norway Q1 2022, by age group
As of the first quarter of 2022, 89 percent of Norwegians between 40 and 49 years were Facebook users. The usage rate of people aged 60 years and over was 78 percent. Younger people tend to use Facebook less in recent years, while older generations are adapting to it and use it more. Regarding frequency of use, most of the people who had Facebook profiles during the same period were using the platform on a daily basis. Only four percent of the interviewed Norwegians used Facebook monthly or less often in 2021.
