About This Statistic
This statistic shows the ranking of social networks in Norway as of April 2017, by share of page views and it is based on traffic information on all platforms (desktop, mobile and tablet). The biggest share of the traffic on social media websites was generated on Facebook (83,02 percent of page views) , which continues to be the most popular social platform in Norway. In the fourth quarter of 2016, 85 percent of the Norwegian population was using Facebook. The second in the ranking was Pinterest with about 6,69 percent of the page views. Twitter followed after with 3,3 percent of the traffic. The page views on Instagram reached a share of 0.88 percent although the social media platform had a usage rate of about 43 percent in Norway in 2016.
