Sales revenue of foreign recorded music in Denmark 2009-2019, by format
In 2019, streaming music media was the most valuable foreign recorded music format in Denmark. The sales revenue amounted to 359 million Danish kroner. In the past years, the sales of music streaming highly increased. By comparison, as of 2012, this format generated a revenue of 57 million Danish kroner. However, the sales from downloaded music media decreased to only 10 million Danish kroner in 2019. Physical media was the second most valuable domestic format in Denmark that year.
