Household investments in funds and shares in the Benelux region 2013-2017, by country This statistic shows the value of household investments in investment funds and shares in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) from 2013 to 2017 (in euros per capita). In 2017, the investments of Belgian households in investment funds and shares were worth approximately 159 euros per capita.
In the Netherlands, most consumers tend to save their money, despite low interest rates. In 2006, the total net national saving in the Netherlands was worth around 81.2 billion euros. Subsequently, this increased to approximately 88.7 billion euros in 2007. By 2016, the value increased, after some fluctuations, to roughly 87.8 billion euros.

This statistic shows the value of household investments in investment funds and shares in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) from 2013 to 2017 (in euros per capita). In 2017, the investments of Belgian households in investment funds and shares were worth approximately 159 euros per capita.
In the Netherlands, most consumers tend to save their money, despite low interest rates. In 2006, the total net national saving in the Netherlands was worth around 81.2 billion euros. Subsequently, this increased to approximately 88.7 billion euros in 2007. By 2016, the value increased, after some fluctuations, to roughly 87.8 billion euros.
