Salvatore Ferragamo: worldwide revenues 2019, by product gategory

In 2019, the Italian fashion company Salvatore Ferragamo generated 576 million euros revenue from its footwear line. Sales of leather goods were the company’s second source of income, generating a revenue for 541 million euros. These two product categories combined accounted for about 80 percent of Salvatore Ferragamo’s worldwide revenue in 2019.

 Among the leading Italian luxury fashion brands 

  Founded in 1928 in Florence, Salvatore Ferragamo has grown to become one of the leading Italian luxury brands worldwide, both for womenswear and for menswear. According to the companies’ latest balance sheet, in 2019, Ferragamo registered global revenues of approximately 1.4 billion euros. Despite reporting a slight decrease in revenue in the last two years, the brand showed an impressive growth since 2011, when its revenue was just below the one billion euros mark.

 Global presence is key 

  Salvatore Ferragamo relies on a solid network of stores all over the world. The brand is present in all continents with over 400 directly operated stores (DOS) and 263 third point of sales (TPoS). The worldwide presence allows Ferragamo to reach wealthy customers in several markets. In particular, Asia Pacific, excluded Japan, represents the main source of income for the brand, accounting for about 38 percent of its total revenue.
