In 2017, the Italian fashion Group Dolce & Gabbana S.r.l. reported an EBITDA of 129.5 million euros. During the period considered, this figure increased overall, but the value registered in 2017 represented a decrease compared to the previous year when the EBITDA was at its highest (149 million euros).

A brand for the stars

Dolce & Gabbana started attracting the attention of actors and famous personalities around the world in the 1990s. Thanks to increasing visibility and a business strategy focused on expansion towards foreign markets, the company was able to become one of the leading Italian fashion companies in terms of turnover, which increased threefold from 2011 to 2017.

Founded by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 1985, Dolce & Gabbana is now one of the main players in the global luxury goods sector. Thanks to well thought and effective marketing campaigns Dolce & Gabbana is also one of the most recognizable and desirable brands worldwide. The evidence? The brand counted 16.2 million followers on Instagram as of May 2018, making it the second most followed Italian fashion brand on the social networking app after Gucci.
