In 2022, adults in the United States spent more time reading on weekends than weekdays, according to recent data. The average time spent reading in the U.S. amounted to 0.31 hours (18 minutes) on weekends and holidays, while daily time spent reading on weekdays in 2022 dropped back to pre-pandemic levels at a quarter of an hour.
