Total exports from India by commodities 2018

India's most exported commodity was engineering goods, valued at over five trillion Indian rupees in fiscal year 2018. This includes products made from iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, industrial machinery, and automobiles among others. Gems and jewelry came in second that year at near 2.7 trillion rupees followed by petroleum products, drugs and pharmaceuticals.
