Gems and jewelry exports from India 2019 by type

India exported pearl, precious and semi-precious jewelry valued at nearly 26 billion U.S. dollars in fiscal year 2019. This made the highest type of gems and jewelry exports in terms of value. On the other hand, silver had the lowest value during the measured time period. This sector made up over 12 percent of all exports from the country that year.
