This statistic shows the public perception of equality of promotion prospects for homosexuals among the Italian population in 2011, sorted by age group. According to this statistic, nearly 50 percent of Italians aged between 18 and 74 thought that homosexual people had fewer promotion opportunities than heterosexuals with the same skills and education level. This perception, shared by over 52 percent of Italians aged 18-34, was stronger among younger Italians.
