Preferred sources for financial advice in the Benelux in 2017, by country

If you had money available (about one month's take-home pay) to invest, where would you most likely get advice?

Preferred sources for financial advice in the Benelux in 2017, by country This statistic shows the answers to a survey question on the preferred sources for financial advice in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) in 2017. In 2017, more than half of the respondents from Luxembourg indicated they would ask a financial or bank adviser for help when it comes to investing, which is higher than the 40 percent of European consumers who would consider this option. In the Netherlands, most consumers tend to save their money, despite low interest rates. In 2006, the total net national saving in the Netherlands was worth around 81.2 billion euros. Subsequently, this increased to approximately 88.7 billion euros in 2007. By 2016, the value increased, after some fluctuations, to roughly 87.8 billion euros.
