
Millennials who used mobile payments but stopped in Europe 2016, by country
This statistic presents the share of surveyed Millennials* in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy, who stopped using mobile payments, as of November 2016. Figures showed that in each country, between a fifth and a quarter responding Millenials have tried mobile payments, and later abandoned them, either due to technological difficulties, security concerns or a lack of instantaneous payment results. The highest share of such former users was found in Italy with 24 percent, the lowest on the Dutch market, with 19 percent of respondents.
