Heart transplants in Spain in 2022, by autonomous community
In 2022, the number of heart transplants performed in Spain amounted to 311 interventions, an increase compared to previous years. That same year, Madrid was the autonomous community that reported the highest number of heart transplants in the European country, with 77 procedures. Catalonia followed, recording 54 heart transplants as of that year.
