Share of organ donors in Spain in 2021, by age
In 2021, approximately 31 percent of organ donors in Spain were aged between 45 and 59 years old. The second largest group of organ donors in that year were adults between 60 and 69 years, who accounted for around 26.2 percent of deceased and living organ donors in the country. In that year, these two groups made up roughly 57.2 percent of the total organ donors. Spain has been one of the world leaders in organ donation for the last few years.
