Organ donors in Spain in 2022, by autonomous community
In 2022, the number of deceased organ donors in Spain reached approximately 2.1 thousand people. Andalusia ranked as the autonomous community with the most organ donors that year, with 416 donors, followed by Catalonia and the Region of Valencia, which registered 357 and 250 deceased organ donors, respectively. Meanwhile, Cantabria had the highest rate of organ donors per million inhabitants in Spain as of 2022.
