Chile: planted area with industrial crops 2015-2019
During crop year 2018/19, the area planted with industrial crops in Chile amounted to close to 104 thousand hectares, a decrease of 18.1 percent compared to nearly 127 thousand hectares recorded during the previous crop year. That same year, industrial production of tomatoes in the country added up to nearly 865 thousand metric tons.
