Production of cereals in Tunisia 2010-2021
In 2021, the total production of cereals in Tunisia was around 1.7 million metric tons, representing an increase compared to the previous year. In the period examined, cereal production in the country peaked at over 2.4 million metric tons in 2019. The decline observed in the following years may be due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In general, durum wheat is the leading cereal produced in Tunisia.
