Self-publishing video game rate in France 2014-2022
In 2019, 61 percent of video game studios in France chose self-publishing for their video games, down from over 75 percent of developers who chose to go via established publisher in 2015. Self-publishing enables the studio to retain greater control and all the revenue from their product but is also more effort than distributing their games via a bigger company.
