Survey on second-round voting intentions between Niinistö and Haatainen Finland 2017 This statistic shows the result of a survey on second-round voting intentions between Sauli Niinistö and Tuula Haatainen in the upcoming Finnish presidential election as of October 2017. According to the survey, if the two candidates were up against each other in the second round of the election, 94 percent of respondents would vote for Sauli Niinistö. Sauli Niinistö, the incumbent president, won the election for the first time in 2012 as the candidate of the National Coalition Party. The next presidential election in Finland will be held on January 28, 2018.
