Retail sales value of organic products in France 2012-2019, by category

The general trend in household purchase of organic food is an increase, which is recorded across all categories.
Grocery and non-alcoholic beverages make up the section with the most significant growth. Indeed, its sales value was 1.1 billion euros in 2012 and reached 3.9 billion euros in 2019.
It is worth mentioning that when asked about the types of organic food they consume the most, French people placed fruits and vegetables at the top of their list.
