This statistic illustrates the share of journeys made by public transport outside of urban areas in the North West of Italy in 2008 and 2016. According to the data, over the eight-year period the share of journeys made by public transport decreased slightly, passing from 14.3 percent to 14.1 percent of all long-distance journeys made by motorized transport in the North West.
