Average number of employees in the retail trade in Russia 2013-2020

The number of employees in the retail trade business increased up until peaking in 2016 at approximately 2.9 million workers. The figures have been in decline since then. By 2020, there was an average of nearly 2.7 million employees in the Russian retail trade.
