Interest in reduction meat consumption among young people in the Netherlands 2018 The statistic displays the results of a survey question concerning interest in the reduction of the meat consumption among young people in the Netherlands in 2018. The survey outcomes indicated that many 25 to 35 year olds in the Netherlands who occasionally eat meat would like to reduce their meat consumption, while the number of respondents who disagreed with the survey statement and had no interest in reducing their meat consumption was not far behind. Approximately 40 percent of respondents agreed that they want to try to eat less meat, whereas 32 percent of respondents either disagreed or strongly disagreed with the statement.
