
Number of pay TV accesses in selected countries in Latin America 2021, by legality
In the third quarter of 2021, Mexico was home to approximately 23.34 million pay TV households, out of which 1.78 million (almost eight percent) were pirate accesses, and 1.62 million (seven percent) were under-reported. Meanwhile, the number of pay TV households in Brazil stood at about 18.7 million, of which 3.58 million (or 19 percent) were pirate accesses, and 1.11 million (six percent) were under-reported.
