In October 2021, around 23.6 percent of households in Brazil had access to pay TV, up from nearly 21 percent in December 2020. Satellite television – also known as direct-to-home (DTH) – was the top pay TV technology in Brazil, accounting for almost six out of 10 accesses in the South American country.
