Number of private equity deals Europe

In Europe, the United Kingdom (UK) was by far the largest country for private equity deals in Europe during 2019 in terms of both volume and value. Private equity deals in Europe, which include the target company being based in Europe and the buyer being either a private equity or venture capital firm, fell slightly in terms of volume on 2018, although the total value of deals remained almost equal to the previous year.
