Driving under the influence of alcohol in Italy 2008-2021
Between 2008 and 2021, the share of individuals who drove under the influence of alcohol in Italy decreased considerably. As a matter of fact, during 2008 about 12.1 percent of the Italian population drove while drunk, while in 2021 this figure dropped to around 4.9 percent. This figure shows the share of individuals who drove vehicles under the influence of alcohol in Italy from 2008 to 2021.
