The statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the share of youth following a diet in the Netherlands from 2001 to 2017, by level of education. The survey results suggest that the share of youths following a diet in both primary and secondary level education peaked in 2013. In 2013, over nine percent of students surveyed in both primary and secondary education were on a diet. By 2017, the share of primary students dieting had decreased to roughly six percent, while the share of youths in secondary education who were following had fallen to 6.7 percent.
