According to a poll, the pandemic crisis produced lower budget for Christmas gifts in Italy. In 2020, Italian consumers were willing to spend an estimated 280 euros, down from the previous year at about 320 euros. In 2021, Italian shoppers intended to make up for it by spending over 370 euros on Christmas presents on average.
