This statistic shows the results of a survey, conducted in 2017 among adult Americans, asking them if they believe in God or a higher power. The results were sorted by age group. During the survey, 43 percent of 18 to 29 year-olds stated they believe in God as described in the Bible. Some 16 percent of the same age group stated they do not believe in God or a higher power.
