Growth rate of self-medication products sales volume in Italy 2021-2022, by category
The sales volume of the whole self-medication segment supplied by pharmacies in Italy increased by 10 percent between April 2021 and March 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year. According to the data provided by New Line Ricerche di Mercato, most product categories in this segment enjoyed an increase in packages sold. In particular, the best performing category was the one of self-medication products for the respiratory system, which experienced an impressive increase of 37.2 percent in terms of sales volume.
