Population covered by national health insurance program Philippines 2009-2018
In 2018, the estimated share of the population covered by the national health insurance program administered by the Philhealth was 98 percent. To ensure that every Filipino will receive affordable and quality health benefits, a universal health care system was implemented to cover all Filipinos across the globe.
