Where Do People Use VPNs?
VPNs
According to Global Web Index, Indonesia, India, and Turkey are the top countries for virtual private network use when compared to each countries’ total number of internet users. Out of all internet users worldwide, Asia-Pacific is the region home to the most frequent VPN users, followed by Latin America, and the Middle East. Europe and North America use VPNs the least when compared to all internet users in those regions.
Virtual private networks connect a user’s device to a remote server, obscuring the location which the user is in. The VPN takes on the IP address of the server instead of the location of the person. VPNs create a secure, private connection between a user and server.
