Leading book genres in Mexico 2023
During a survey conducted among literate adults in urban Mexico in February 2023, approximately 38 percent of respondents reported reading books from the literature genre throughout the past 12 months. Some 33 percent mentioned textbooks and close to 28 percent mentioned reading the self-help, self-improvement, and religious books. Literate adults' leading reasons for reading books in Mexico included entertainment, work, and study.
