Italy: distribution of export value of footwear 2013-2018, by macro-region

In 2018, Western Europe was the main destination for Italian footwear products. In fact, according to the data provided by Prometeia, the share of export value addressed to Western Europe increased from 53.8 percent in 2013 to 58.4 percent in 2018. Over the period under consideration, also the share of Italian export addressed to Asian countries increased significantly, from 10.9 percent to 12.1 percent.
