Hello Group Inc., a Chinese company that operates China's most popular casual dating apps Momo and Tantan, saw a drop in annual net revenue to 12.7 billion yuan in 2022. Launched in 2011, Momo's active user growth was stagnant in the end of 2015. After introducing live video streaming features, the platform regained its momentum with a rocketing growth until 2019.
