Hello Group's annual net income 2014-2021

Hello Group Inc., a Chinese company that operates the popular dating apps Momo and Tantan, reported a net loss of 2.93 billion yuan in 2021. Such a plummet was the result of an impairment analysis in which a total loss of 4.4 billion yuan of goodwill and intangible assets with the exception of the Group's operational licenses and permits was included in the its financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2021.
Te Group's flagship app Momo, oiginally a simple location-based dating app, nw relies on live video streaming services as its main revenue stream. Its monetization model which encourages users to buy virtual gifts for streamers was once highly profitable until the Chinese government has strictened its regulations on live streaming.
