Total police personnel in Russia 2006-2017

The count of police personnel in Russia continuously declined since 2008 when 900 thousand persons worked in this sector of criminal justice. Between 2015 and 2016, a significant decrease by over 84 thousand employees was observed. The latest data showed that approximately 600 thousand policemen operated in the country in 2017.
